The Management Team of Maiwand Bank comprises of qualified and experienced banking professionals from the neighboring countries. The team is entrusted with the responsibility of management of the banking activities in strict compliance of the Banking and other laws under the guidance and supervision of the Board of Supervisors.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dr. Ashok Dubey is a PhD in Economics, postgraduate and graduate in Economics and also holds LLB degree. He has also completed “FINTECH- Foundations & Applications of Financial Technology” course online from Pennsylvania University, USA He has more than 34 year's of cumulative experience in banking & finance domain and academia. Joined as Probationary Officer in Canara Bank in 1983, moved on to IDBI Bank in 1998 as Corporate Credit then to Axis Bank worked predominantly in commercial and corporate banking at senior positions. His last stint was as Vice President with Asset Reconstruction Company based at Mumbai as Head of Retail Acquisition & Resolution. He made lateral change in carrier path from banking & finance domain to academia in 2009. In academiataught MBA & Post Graduate students in India, Nepal, Mauritius and UAE with reputed universities & colleges like Amity University, Noida & Mauritius, S P Jain School of Global Management, Dubai, Narsee Monjee Distance Learning Program, Mumbai. He has written more than 20 research papers which were published in reputed international journals. Authored a chapter in internationally acclaimed book, “The Economics of Money, Banking & Financial Markets” with Fredric R. Mishkin,ex-member of Federal Reserve of USA, this book is published by Pearson Publications UK,incidentally this book is part of S P Jain library, book collection at Dubai. Dr. Ashok Dubey also was Managing Editor of in-house journal of EIBFS, titled IJRBF and Head of Research at EIBFS, a leading banker’s training institute at UAE. He is also on editorial review board of many journals published internationally. He is also a Certified Training Professional, awarded by Mauritius Qualifications Authority. He was also awarded, Honorary Fellow of Certified Business Management Professional (FCBMP), by Unicaribbean Business School. Lagos, Nigeria.

CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER: MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

Mr. M.Shekib Wahidy , is a Chartered Certified Accountant finalist and obtained Bachelor`s degree in Finance, underwent various certified courses in IFRS/IAS, Accounting Standards & Banking trainings, Professional banker having over 12 years of rich and varied experience since inception on Maiwand Bank in various fields like Operation, Credit, Finance & Accounts, Taxation, Treasury Management, Regulatory Reporting and Serving to Board of Management & Board of Directors. He has been working with Maiwand Bank since 2009 and elevated to the position of CFO in June 2019.
